Galloping Gertie in Washington

Sorry about the postcard being sideways I haven't figured out how to rotate pictures on the blog yet. or on my cell phone... but this postcard shows a picture of Galloping Gertie that collapsed not long after it was built. ( if you are too young to not have seen the old 8 mm films on this feel free to youtube it some good video of it there.) The second bridge on the left was built after the one collasped and to help with traffic flow.

this one was sent by postcrosser pacificquest and there is a rubber stamped image of a little red gnome...

Germany

This card is from Tetsuko. They say there are a lot of interesting places to show my kids. It's like a trail path through the Thurington forrest... wonder if there are any letterboxes along the path?

Kokopelli

This card came from icdamoon in New Mexico. Thanks so much for an formative card.

Turtle mail it's faster than Snail Mail!

Prehistoric UPS? I wonder. It's a cute card from Switzerland sent by s_unn_y. This was the second card sent to us... we got two in 2009 and then we took 2010 off adjusting to the baby. I have now started back up in postcrossing and received 7 cards lately. A couple I have already shown to you. I hope you like these little tidbits from around the world.

Thanks Goofy girl = )

My first postcard

This is my first postcard I received in Oct 2009 not long before I had the baby. It is from the Czech Republic and sent from postcrosser Laivae! It's a pretty one!
